Offensive subjects: I'm good with mostly everything! And I like putting my characters in awkward/horrible situations so even if he's not going to be okay I'm not going to put a limit on him either, for now. If you yourself would feel better approaching me about it first, then do! If I have issues, I will let you know. Otherwise I think we're good! Will edit if necessary.

Friends/Allies: Nightingale is generally amiable with nearly everyone he encounters. He is business-like and unless you give him a reason to oppose you, he will treat you with the respect you are due. He's rather an old-fashioned gentleman in that regard!
Enemies: Nightingale does not have any specific enemies at this current state in time, though this of course may change as the politics within the game change as well
Relationship status: So very single and not looking to the extent he probably won't get that you're interested at all
Notable physical characteristics: Fairly tall, brown hair, sharp grey eyes, he looks like he's stepped straight out of an old movie
Notable magical characteristics: Nightingale is powerful, and the notable signare or signature of his magic is very much along those lines. It's sharp, strong, and efficient. He gets the job done and well, with the resources he has at hand.
Offensive subjects: His past is basically the biggest trigger for him, but if he doesn't want to talk about it with you then he won't. The fact that he's one of the only people left alive with the same life experiences that he has makes him a generally lonely person, and he doesn't like to be reminded of that if he can't help it.
Warnings: In general there isn't all that much to warn against for Nightingale. There are some terrible things that he had experienced in his past in the war, but he makes it a point not to talk about them unless that information is relevent to the given situation and even then he is hesitant. For the most part he's an overall pleasant, if somewhat uptight sort to be around.

Notes/Other: Nightingale is a fairly powerful witch, given his age and experience. He has a staff that helps him perform more complicated magic than he might otherwise be able to perform, and he is capable of creating staffs for others if they are interested in acquiring one. He is an experienced instructor at the Redbright Institute, knowledgeable in a branch of magic known as Newtonian magic highly grounded in Latin classification and structure. He is not without his moments of weakness however, and given his work ethics he he tends to bear it all in silence and take more onto himself than is required, which can certainly create problems for him as well.
